As the Chief of the Leland Police Department I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you, and invite you to familiarize yourself with our mission and the various components of the Department. Consisting of two divisions, Operations and Administration, the Leland Police Department is a full service police agency offering services which include but are not limited to:

- Patrol
- Investigations
- Juvenile Officer/ School Liaison
- Advanced Accident Investigation & Reconstruction
- Community Policing

I am honored with the privilege to serve the people of the Village of Leland and promise that I will, to the best of my ability and resources, strive to provide the highest quality of public safety services possible.

"It is the mission of the Leland Police Department to provide the highest quality of public safety services to the community we serve. The Department will, through preventative, investigative, and enforcement activities, safeguard our community and its citizens. We will treat all persons we encounter with the upmost degree of courtesy and respect; we will strive to increase citizen satisfaction with public safety services through the continued training and development of our members who will always work to foster and enhance cooperation between members of the community, and law enforcement. We recognize that the Police alone are unable to control crime, but acting in concert with our community and other branches of the criminal justice system, will be equipped through dynamic and strategic operational approaches to most effectively respond to the needs of our community. Members of the Leland Police Department will conduct themselves with honor, integrity, and compassion, thereby demonstrating our commitment to building trust between the community and law enforcement.
